Want to Tell Your Story?

Public silence is one of the reasons sexual violence continues to be a community problem. Any other health issue which affected so many people, with such potentially serious and long-term impacts would lead to a public outcry for something to be done. One way to change this silence is for survivors and their friends and family to speak up, when you’re ready.

TOAH-NNEST is often asked if there are any survivors who would like to speak to media about particular issues which arise in relation to sexual violence, so if you think that you might like to do this, please contact us and ask to be put on the media database. We will ask you some specific questions about what you are interested in speaking about so that we don’t contact you inappropriately. You can change your mind at any time, and/or seek support from your local specialist support service to speak with media, make submissions or participate in any other public forum about sexual violence.
